What to Expect
Plan Ahead
Book your appointment at least 3 - 4 weeks before any major event to allow your results to fully develop and for any bruising, redness, or swelling to subside.
Skin Prep
Avoid waxing, shaving, harsh exfoliants, or active ingredients like retinoids and glycolic acid for 3–5 days before treatment.
Skip tanning or self-tanner, and don’t use sunless bronzers beforehand
Medication Check
For at least a week before your appointment, we recommend stopping aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), naproxen, and other NSAIDs. Always consult your doctor before discontinuing any prescribed medications.
Avoid Alcohol
Limit alcohol consumption for at least 24 hours before your treatment.

Let us know beforehand so we can assess whether treatment is right for your skin that day.

Morpheus8 RF Microneedling is often paired with PRF/PRP. We’ll guide you on how to prepare for your appointment if combining services.
Pregnant or Breastfeeding?
Morpheus8 RF Microneedling is not recommended if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.
Cleanse + Numbing
We'll start by gently cleansing the targeted area.
To make you as comfortable as possible, we apply a strong topical numbing cream to the treatment area.
We also offer Pronox, a self-administered nitrous oxide system for enhanced comfort.
Treatment
Morpheus8 delivers radiofrequency energy through tiny microneedles to target specific areas. The procedure usually takes about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the areas we’re treating.
Immediately After
After your treatment, we’ll apply soothing serums and medical-grade sunscreen to calm and protect the skin.
Expect Mild Redness
You may notice some redness, sensitivity, or swelling, but that should go down in just a few days.
Hydrate + Protect
Your skin will be more sensitive to the sun so keep your skin moisturized and wear SPF.
Be Gentle
Avoid active ingredients (like AHAs, BHAs, and retinoids) for 1 week after your treatment. Stick with gentle cleansers and calming moisturizers.
When to Come Back
For best results, we may recommend a series of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Maintenance sessions can be scheduled as needed.
