Sculptra in dallas

Sculptra

This collagen-stimulating injectable works gradually over time to rebuild your skin’s structure, restore volume, and support a naturally lifted, more youthful appearance.

Sculptra

Sculptra is a biostimulatory filler made with poly-L-lactic acid, a collagen-boosting ingredient that works beneath the surface of your skin. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers that add immediate volume, Sculptra takes a slow and steady approach, helping your body rebuild what’s been lost over time. It’s a great option if you’re looking for something that feels more natural and gives you results that lasts for years.

Treatment Spotlight

Rebuild From Within

Sculptra boosts collagen to restore volume in the cheeks, temples, and chin for a softer, more youthful look.

Extended Rejuvenation

Sculptra continues working with your skin for months after treatment, gradually rebuilding collagen and enhancing results over time.

Long-Lasting

Results can last up to two years—making it one of the longest-lasting injectables available.

Start To Finish

What to Expect

Plan Ahead

Book your appointment at least 2 weeks before any major event to allow your results to fully develop and for any bruising, redness, or swelling to subside.

Medication Check

For at least 3–5 days before your appointment, we recommend stopping aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), naproxen, and other NSAIDs. This helps minimize bruising and bleeding. Always consult your doctor before discontinuing any prescribed medications.

Wait on Supplements

For 3 days prior to your appointment, hold off on taking fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, garlic, and St. John’s Wort, as these may increase the risk of bruising.

Skip Alcohol & Caffeine

Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment to help minimize bruising, swelling, and bleeding.

Consider Arnica

You can start taking arnica supplements a couple of days before your appointment to help reduce bruising.

Cold Sores?

If you have a history of cold sores, let us know! We may recommend an antiviral to prevent any outbreaks.

Pregnant or Breastfeeding?

Sculptra is not recommended if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.

Consultation

We’ll start with a conversation to discuss your goals, assess the treatment area, and create a customized plan just for you.

Numbing + Prep

We’ll cleanse your skin and apply a topical numbing cream to keep you comfortable. Some areas may also be numbed with a small injection of local anesthetic.

Treatment

Sculptra is injected using a very fine needle or cannula, depending on the area being treated. You may feel slight pressure or a light pinch, but the process is quick.

Immediately After

Right after treatment, you may see some temporary swelling, redness, or puffiness—that’s normal and will fade quickly. Full collagen-building results develop gradually over the next 6 to 12 weeks.

5-5-5

Massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days (we’ll show you how!)

Keep It Cool

Avoid hot showers, saunas, intense workouts, and excessive sweating for at least 24-48 hours.

No Facials

Hold off on any other facial treatments for at least 2 weeks after your Sculptra appointment. This includes facials, massages, gua sha, microneedling, and similar treatments.

Stay Elevated

Try to remain upright for 4 hours after your treatment.

For the first few nights, sleep on your back with your head slightly elevated. This can help with swelling and support the best possible results.

Go Makeup Free

Avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours after your treatment to keep the area clean and free from anything that could cause irritation.

Managing Discomfort

If you feel any discomfort, you can take over-the-counter acetaminophen (Tylenol), but avoid ibuprofen or aspirin.

If you experience swelling, applying a cool compress for 15-minute intervals can help reduce it. Make sure not to apply ice directly to your skin—use a cloth to avoid irritation.

When to Come Back

Most patients need a series of 2 to 3 sessions spaced several weeks apart for the best results.
