What to Expect

Skin Prep

Discontinue use of retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, vitamin C, and other exfoliating products at least 3–5 days prior to your appointment to minimize irritation.

Avoid waxing, laser treatments, or any other professional exfoliating procedures for at least two weeks prior.

Avoid tanning, using self-tanners, and prolonged sun exposure for at least two weeks before treatment.

Medication Check

Avoid taking any medications that can make your skin more sensitive to light (doxycycline or minocycline) for at least 3 days before your appointment.

If you've been on Accutane, ensure you've discontinued use at least 6 months before your treatment.

Cold Sores?

If you're prone to cold sores, consult with your provider about taking an antiviral medication prior to treatment to prevent outbreaks.

Active Skin Irritation?

Let us know beforehand so we can assess whether treatment is right for your skin that day.

Pregnant or Breastfeeding?

Aerolase Neo Elite is not recommended during pregnancy and may be approached with caution while breastfeeding. Always consult your OB-GYN and provider before booking.

Be Gentle: Cleanse the skin gently and avoid harsh products for at least 72 hours.

Keep it Cool: Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, or hot tubs for 48 hours to minimize swelling.

Be Gentle: Avoid direct pressure and harsh hair products for 48 hours post-treatment.

Medication Check: Avoid anti-inflammatory medications for 72 hours post-treatment to allow natural regenerative processes.

Avoid Hats and Tight Hairstyles: Minimize pressure on the scalp for 48–72 hours.
