PRP and PRF

PRP and PRF

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are natural ways to rejuvenate your skin and restore thinning hair. Both treatments use your own growth factors to stimulate collagen, improve skin texture, and support stronger, healthier hair.

PRP/PRF

PRP and PRF starts with a quick blood draw. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge to separate out the platelets and growth factors. PRP is spun faster to create a concentrated solution. PRF is spun slower to keep more white blood cells and fibrin, which allows for a slower, longer release of healing factors. Both can be applied to the skin or scalp to boost collagen, repair tissue, and improve circulation.

What to Expect

Plan Ahead

Book your appointment at least 2 weeks before any major event to allow your results to fully develop and for any bruising, redness, or swelling to subside.

Medication Check

For at least 3–5 days before your appointment, we recommend stopping aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), naproxen, and other NSAIDs. This helps minimize bruising and bleeding. Always consult your doctor before discontinuing any prescribed medications.

Wait on Supplements

For 3 days prior to your appointment, hold off on taking fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, garlic, and St. John’s Wort, as these may increase the risk of bruising.

Skip Alcohol & Caffeine

Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment to help minimize bruising, swelling, and bleeding.

Hydrate & Eat

Eat and drink plenty of water before your treatment to prepare for the blood draw.

Feeling Off?

Please reschedule your appointment if you’re feeling sick or have an active rash or infection in the area you plan to treat.

Pregnant or Breastfeeding?
