PDO Threads Dallas

PDO Threads

PDO Thread Lift is a non-surgical treatment that lifts and tightens sagging skin while stimulating collagen production. Our Dallas patients love this treatment for lifting areas like the jawline, neck, cheeks, and brows.

PDO Threads

A PDO Thread Lift uses dissolvable threads placed just beneath the skin to lift and reposition sagging tissue while stimulating collagen production. During the treatment, a licensed and experienced provider inserts the threads using a fine needle, then gently adjusts them to create a natural-looking lift.

Treatment Spotlight

Lift & Tighten

Lift and tighten your skin in areas where aging shows first including the neck, jawline, and lower face.

Collagen Boosting

PDO Threads stimulate natural collagen production for firmer, smoother skin.

Long-Lasting

While the threads dissolve naturally, your results continue to improve as collagen builds.

Start To Finish

What to Expect

Skin Prep

Discontinue use of retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, vitamin C, and other exfoliating products at least 3–5 days prior to your appointment.

Medication Check

To minimize the risk of bruising, avoid alcohol, blood-thinning medications, and supplements, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, and fish oil, for at least 3-5 days before your appointment.

Hydrate

Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment for the best results.

Active Skin Irritation?

Let us know beforehand so we can assess whether treatment is right for your skin that day.

Pregnant or Breastfeeding?

PDO thread lifts are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Consultation

Your provider will review your goals, examine your facial structure, and map out the best thread placement strategy to create the most natural-looking lift.

Numbing + Prep

We’ll cleanse your skin and apply a topical numbing cream to keep you comfortable. Some areas may also be numbed with a small injection of local anesthetic.

Treatment

Using a fine, hollow needle or cannula, your provider will gently insert the PDO threads just beneath the skin. You may feel slight pressure or tugging, but the process is generally well tolerated. The treatment is quick, typically taking only 30-60 minutes.

Results

You may begin to notice subtle skin tightening and texture improvement within the first few weeks. Full collagen-stimulating effects typically develop gradually over 6–12 weeks as your body builds new collagen around the threads.

Expect Swelling & Bruising

Mild swelling, tenderness, and some bruising are common and typically fade within a few days. You may also feel a bit of tightness or soreness in the area for about a week.

Sleep Elevated

Sleep on your back with your head elevated for the first few nights to minimize swelling and avoid putting pressure on the treated areas.

Avoid Certain Movement

For 1 – 2 weeks, avoid exaggerated facial movements (like big yawns or chewing gum), intense workouts, and any facial massages or treatments. Give your threads time to settle in.

Go Makeup Free

Skip makeup for 24 hours to let the skin heal.

Keep It Cool

Avoid hot showers, saunas, or anything that can increase swelling and interfere with your skin healing for at least 5 days.

When to Come Back

We recommend a follow-up visit around 1–2 weeks after treatment to check your results and ensure proper healing. Maintenance treatments can be scheduled annually or as needed.
