Skinpen PRP Microneedling

A combination of PRP and microneedling can speed up healing and promote skin regeneration, resulting in better outcomes than microneedling alone.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a type of plasma derived from an individual’s own blood. A blood sample is drawn from the patient and placed into a centrifuge, which separates PRP from blood. It is spun for about 15 minutes. Natural growth factors and other cytokines found in PRP promote the regeneration of soft tissues. The PRP is applied directly to the channels created by microneedling to stimulate natural healing and collagen synthesis. The injections take a few moments to take effect, and they are mildly uncomfortable. The procedure is quick, and fairly painless, and regular activities can be resumed immediately following the procedure.
